Taking the Message to the Streets

Well, we finally got our equipment together to take our messages to the streets in an effort to help people out with food scarcity issues. It took several weeks to barter for the lcd projector (I found someone willing to swap for a composter I built), but it was worth it.

For the most part, people were friendly. Engaging, even. While they all know, to some degree, how bad the situation is, many are in denial that it can get worse, that there quite literally may not be enough to go around. More than once, I had to remind them of the Global Financial Crash of 2008-2011 and how numerous people had predicted it well in advance, but had a very hard time getting people to listen. Now that we're actually in the midst of ongoing shortages, it's more a matter of getting people to talk about next steps.
